A close cousin of it’s darker counterpart, this version of our Latin-American style French toast is lighter in color because rather than being sweetened with raw sugar cane syrup, it is made with milk and condensed milk. Also made exclusively for the Christmas season and sometimes in Easter, this option is for those who prefer a different sort of sweet! Modern version of this particularly simple and basic food include many new toppings and creative varieties. But the simplicity of such a small and flavor-packed treat is what makes a basic one so great, any time of the year!
